Optical sensor and analyzer development for solid dosage form and biopharmaceutical processes

Promis Centre is an ideal environment for sensor and analyzer development as it attracts both academia and industry, provides facilities, networks, resources and an R&D environment for pharmaceutical processing.

This sub-project focuses on development of PAT sensors, analyzers and instrumentation for solid dosage form and biopharmaceutical processes. The industrial target groups are both small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and large global companies working in pharmaceutical, biotechnical and process instrumentation industry.

There is a strong focus on new emerging sensor and computational technologies that are targeted to resolve major challenges in optical instrument design, optical sensor development, practical PAT instrumentation and real applications.
